We operate on a hybrid revenue model, supported by affordable fees charged to schools or parents and corporate sponsorships. These fees cover operational costs, allowing us to offer workplace visits, shadowing, internships, and workshops at an accessible price point. Corporate partnerships provide us with the expertise needed to create enriching learning experiences for students. This model ensures that NextGen91 can consistently deliver valuable experiences that bridge academic learning and the modern workplace.
Demand Generation: How we got students onboard
Our initial step was understanding our target audience – high school and college students in India. We conducted surveys and spoke to students in Class 11 & 12 to gauge interest and willingness to pay for our services. Their feedback helped refine our offerings. Market research in the Delhi-NCR area revealed a large number of schools and undergraduate colleges with students interested in our services, especially those aspiring to study abroad. To reach students, we used three channels: engaging with schools through brochures, collaborating with college counsellors, and direct outreach through personal networks, referrals, social media, career fairs, and newsletters. We focused on the Delhi-NCR market initially, targeting over 20,000 prospective students.
Supply Generation: How we got companies onboard
To make our offerings valuable for students, we partnered with diverse companies willing to support practical learning. Our research indicated that many senior leaders were enthusiastic about helping students gain real-world exposure. We used three channels to sign up companies: leveraging our network through parents and friends, exploring parents of participating students as potential corporate contacts, and reaching out to professionals on LinkedIn. This multi-channel approach allowed us to build a robust network of corporate partners.
